I hurt myself today ...

I miss the talent of Johnny Cash. I found a series of photos of him in his later years, this painting is mine. I'll never part with it, it's my homage to a real talent (profuse apologies to the photographer who took it), I painted this when I had a really bad day and today was another one. They happen, but it's what you do tomorrow, and tomorrow is going to be awesome! Yay!

It's the latter years of cash's output that I like most. Hurt is a powerful cover of a powerful song. Nice work.https://www.blogger.com/comment.do

Hey Steve, now I worry. Hope you are OK!

Deep days happen to deep people. I know that the ability to go deep is the counterbalance of the same ability to go very high and spread light.

Be very well, friend.

I love him too...and I miss that he is not creating new music for us anymore. He's a legend for sure.

I adore the man. I love this song more than any other. I have done my own little drawing inspired y this track too. Never tried drawing him though. Great stuff. Off to find that album now....
