That Stephenie Meyer and her 'Twilight' books ... I'm a real advocate for reading and stuff but someone told Sarah they were a ripping good read. I've not really held a proper conversation with her since. She was sat outside next to the river in Scotland, at a wonderful patio set made out of reclaimed wood - something you would just love to have in your garden. It seemed to grow out of the ground ...

beautiful drawing !
Ah, this was worth waiting for!
& indeed, I just barged my way through the entire series myself. I like the negative space in your drawing, though I do notice you conveniently obscured the cover of the book, so there's no telling which one it is! Twilight aficionados notice this kind of thing. =)
The book was 'Eclipse', she is now reading 'Breaking Dawn' and then we might have a conversation again!
I have been meaning to read these books too but haven't gotten to it yet.
I love seeing the everyday in may posts on your blog! I am always looking for a new drawing from you as they are always wonderful.
Do you usually leave your drawing black and white? Or do you add color sometimes? with what?
Hi Kaine, thanks for your post! I sometimes add colour but usually intend to do that at the outset - If I do it is usually watercolour or gouache.
Good luck, the end is in sight! =)
Ha ha ha! Yes, my daughter made me read them too... now my youngest is begging to get in on the series but i feel she's a bit young (9) the last one has loads of sex and violence in it...
A really lovely drawing this one, can there be many nicer things than reading on holiday? (Apart from talking to your husband of course, that's nice too)
