15/31 - Through the windswept costal trees ...

It rained... and rained! It poured down today like someone up there turned on a very big tap, then emptied a bucket and then turned the big tap on again - and I seemed to pick the wrong moments because I got it every time! It has the aroma of wet coats and, unfortunatley, wet dog in this house!

I can't believe you've even started this everyday in may thingy. Everytime I commit to something like that i always feel to much pressure, and then cannot draw. That's why I never get involved.

All of your posts are just fab, though. So myabe the presuure doesn't get to you, so much?

Loving your work, as always.

you really capture the mood of the day. I can almost feel the rain drip, drip, dripping.

This is really lovely - i agree with Owen, it looks like an enchanting children's storybook illustration. Just lovely.

Hi Guys - thanks for your comments, I really appreciate them. I did this sketch in my journal while in London. I was in a hotel room with the rain thrashing down and it reminded me of being in the woods at home. I get really hung up on painting and sketching what I see, this was more - how I felt, so your comments are extra special to me. Cheers me dears :-)
