Beautiful! That looks so much like Nat - I see she found a way to get over her last day... :-) I love what you've done with Beth's hair too - it just frames it perfectly.

LOVE it. Nice one. :) x

I was just thinking that it's been a long time since your last post and then... I saw your new work..It was worth waiting for! Love that concentrated looks on their faces and a framed heart on the wall (subliminal message of love for your girls?).

hee hee! great subject... i've been doing some photos of my two girls with their faces illuminated by various artifical light sources - usually nintendo or my mobile which they nick to play games on. A beautiful drawing as ever, and love the title (i saw nick cave recently - he was fab). I always enjoy your blog. :)

Just zoomed in for another look and it really does merit close inspection. You've totally nailed the cross hatching haven't you? It really is a stunning drawing.

Love the picture on the wall too - cute touch!

Wonderful sketch. You know, years from now, they will look back on this and remember.

Nintendo DS! :) Well, I have the fat version and my fiancee has the Lite version... we're big fans of NDS. The hatching is just so well done!
