Just finished a painting of my son's friend Jake. I try and avoid portraits but keep coming back to them, there are so many challenges involved. I think I'm happy with this one, his mum is!

loved your comment on Andreas blog,it brought me here. Have really enjoyed looking and do love your paintings. I draw on my knee on a board, usually by the fire, sadly lacking that studio!
