You took my dreams from me ...

Well that's Christmas stuffed back in the loft for another year! I saw the pile of boxes and thought a drawing would delay the climb up the ladder... I'm not scared of lofts, no siree... I fall off ladders. Did it in the summer pruning the climber on the wall above the kitchen window... spent the rest of the week walking around like an old man. Well an old man with a sore butt, I normally walk round like an old man. The boxes are safely in the loft, I'm now having a nice sit down and a cup of tea.

What a wonderful drawing! I love it, and it sure captures the spirit of the "deconstruction" of Christmas. Well Done! nancy

Lovely sketch. It's pleasant to see the snippets of day to day living as art subjects.

Great sketch, love the perspective of the boxes and bag. All the accoutrements of the season will be packed up - but let's keep the spirit "unboxed" throughout the year!

Beautifully done, Steve!

Fairytale of New York ... first encountered it in P.S. I Love You - I know it's supposed to be a bittersweet song, but it's just plain deliciously irreverent to me. Hope you have a creative, irreverent year!

We just got done doing the same thing and I make the hubster climb the ladder. I am afraid of heights! Lovely drawing ... I thought about taking the time to draw our pile, but I wanted my house back more.

Best wishes for 2010! Can't wait to see what you tackle this year.

You captured something experienced by so many of us in this perfect little sketch. Who but an artist ... it's just terrific.

Great idea for a sketch, this is one of life's many truisms. Nice one.
