My son Dan and his partner Will were not aware of the risk involved in falling asleep on my sofa. Stay there too long and you get sketched! We had a great weekend - the best of times!
That's a very good drawing. Although, to be honest, I'm not a big fan of drawings/pictures showing people asleep or with their eyes shut, gives me too much of memento mori aspect of the art of representation :( I am waitinig for your next work asap!!
Brilliant brilliant brilliant. I'm still amazed at how you manage to capture faces so well with so few lines - I'd really have screwed that up if it had been me. I've decided ink scares me. :-)
Love the pose as well - it's so peaceful.
Plus I get to be smug that I've seen it close up - the hatching is wonderful.
Hi Stephen! Thanks for your kind comments, always appreciated. I agree with most of the people here, very nice cross-hatching technique indeed! Oh, and by the way, I also agree with your saying everyone should do art in the way the can. So true! Cheers from Madrid!

Lord you're talented! There are amazingly few lines depicting the features of your sweet (and handsome) couple. Awesome!
