There are times when the children are around and all of a sudden you realise they are quiet, no requests for biscuits, lunch, drinks, sweets ... the joy of Nintendo DS. I would like to buy the person who invented it a drink - I know... they shouldn't have their heads in games all day long but now and again - blissful peace :-)

This is an amazing 'sketch'. Love your work Stephen and your Daughter's hat is just so yummy!
Such concentration.
LOVE your cross hatching, Steve, and it seems you have overcome the block with your customary success!
You're really blessed with lovely kids.

Another stunner! How do you do that? I can't draw my kids to save my life.
This is so beautiful. Your drawing exhibits such sensitivity, great stuff as always.
Ooh you finished it - brilliant! Love it - it's so....quiet. :)
Great lines. GREAT lines. I hear what you are saying about the DS. Of course, it's everything you stand against, but that's the price of peace. And, anyway, when I get on there I'm just the same. Hooked.
Another great Molsekine entry, Stephen.
Awesome hatching...I get lost in the beauty of your marks! A precious capture!:)
I really like this. This is a fantastic sketch. What a great memory in time.
Very nice. But I'm afraid you did a terrible mistake : your son's socks are different!!!
It's a great sketch. Their kids will someday want to know what those old DS's were. My grandkids have those "toys" too. The two oldest just got new laptop computers with their savings plus a little from their grandpa and I and now they want to instant message and play games with me. I guess I shouldn't have taught them how to keep in touch!!
