I find that I constantly strive to get everything into a sketch. I took the children and that darned dog, Fudge out in the fog and the wet - I was determined to try and sketch from some photos I took and resist putting the detail in - nearly killed me!

Truly beautiful & so filled with emotion this is. I never thought that simplicity in art could open up windows to include other things, like the affection you show for your family here. Food for thought.

Love this picture, I like drawing in pencil, espesicly pictures with people in them. I'd love to see more pencil work.
