Lazy Sunday afternoons

Preparing the subject. Take one wet Sunday afternoon, invite in-laws over. Add one large roast dinner with a drop of wine, light log fire, wait fifteen minutes and hey presto! A drawing!

Oh, the devious things you will do to get a good sketch! Really wonderful!

And I admire that you didn't succumb to the wiles of roast, wine, fire and rain, but stayed awake to make the sketch!

This is SO beautiful, Stephen. I'm getting quite worried about how good you are.

Seriously, a very sensitive and beautiful sketch.

Fabulous sketch, and a wonderful idea. Now, if only my in-laws lived nearby, and if only I were a better cook....

Thanks for your encouraging comments - I felt a little guilty posting this one!
Pippa - I fell asleep after I sketched, it is sooo tiring!
Anita - thank you for your comment, I'm learning so much from your site!
Margaret - you always say such nice things and I'm not sure I deserve them.
Andrea - be worried! But know that your continued support is humbling and I was choked when you added me to your site! Truly
Christie - you are so lucky!!!! :-)
